In this era of rapidly developing technology and research, studies in nuclear science and nuclear engineering have become increasingly important. Faced with global challenges related to energy, health, and the environment, knowledge in these fields is crucial for addressing complex problems. The International Conference on Advances in Nuclear Science and Engineering (ICANSE) serves as a vital forum for scientists, researchers, students, and practitioners to share the latest ideas, knowledge, and findings in nuclear physics and biophysics.
ICANSE is an international conference regularly organized by the Nuclear Physics and Biophysics Expertise Group, the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Physics Study Programs, the Master’s Study Program in Nuclear Science and Engineering, and the Nuclear Engineering Doctoral Study Program at FMIPA, ITB. This year’s ICANSE conference will be held at the Ganesha Campus of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in Bandung. The conference provides an excellent opportunity to exchange research results, present findings, and advance the application of science, particularly in the use of nuclear technology for both energy and non-energy purposes.The International Conference on Advances in Nuclear Science and Engineering (ICANSE) 2024, organized by the Physics Study Program at FMIPA ITB, aims to establish a tradition of scientific excellence at the international level for nuclear scientists in Indonesia. This conference is supported by several professional institutions, including the Indonesian Physics Association (HFI), the Physics and Applied Physics Society of Indonesia (PAPSI), the Indonesian Association of Nuclear Experts (HANI), the Indonesian Association of Medical Physicists and Biophysicists (HFMBI), and the Indonesian Nuclear Society Association (HIMNI).
Given the significance of this international seminar, the committee seeks assistance and cooperation from various parties, including educational institutions, research organizations, government bodies, and especially sponsors. The theme of the International Conference on Advances in Nuclear Science and Engineering (ICANSE) 2024 is “Optimization on NPP Technology Utilization to be Implemented for Global NZE Program” This theme focuses on the role of nuclear technology in addressing global challenges related to energy, health, and the environment, and emphasizes the importance of innovative research and applications in promoting sustainable development.
